Founded in 2010 by Rahees Misty, Arara Foods is a well-known name in Malabar for natural, home-made snacks, well packed and made without artificial preservatives. Read how it all began · About Arara Foods
The traditional Kerala way — giving banana chips and mixture their unmistakable aroma and crunch.
Every batch is cooked by hand and tasted before packing, so each bite is as fresh as the first.
Kashmiri chilli, curry leaves, asafoetida and sea salt. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Nitrogen-flushed resealable packs keep snacks crisp from our kitchen in Kerala to your home.
OUR STORY
Founded by Rahees Misty in 2010, Arara began in a family kitchen, where every festival meant heaps of golden banana chips and jars of spicy mixture made for neighbours and relatives far from home. We still cook the same way — slow-fried in coconut oil, seasoned with curry leaves, chilli and asafoetida, and packed fresh the same week.
Whether you grew up in Kochi or are discovering Kerala for the first time, each pack is a small taste of the backwaters, the tea stalls and the homes that inspired it.
